I use 3/32" mandrels for the 1/8" OD, and push the copper
tubing tightly against the stampmark,
or put a slight bend in the mandrel and push tubing tightly against
bend;
work from mandrel tip back toward your hand to keep tubing from
pulling loose
(no need to dip mandrels with these two methods)
OR you can dip mandrels as usual and use the first dab of glass
to attach the tubing to mandrel.
